Web design for Selangor businesses and schools.

We are a small web developer studio serving Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Subang Jaya, Klang and the rest of Selangor. Builds start at RM199 one-time, hosting at RM15 a month, and you approve a preview before you pay.

Who we build for in Selangor

Selangor is a large state, and most of its business happens in townships rather than in one centre. A tuition centre in a shop lot, a workshop in an industrial park, a family restaurant that has run for decades: each has a different reader in mind. We build for the groups below, and we say plainly when one of them needs more than a simple site.

  • Tuition centres, kindergartens and schools in residential townships. Parents decide on a phone, often in the evening.
  • Workshops and light industry around Shah Alam, Klang and Puchong. Buyers want to know what you make or repair and how to ask for a quote.
  • Family businesses such as shops, bakeries, clinics and renovation firms that have a loyal word-of-mouth base and no site yet.
  • Associations and community groups that need one reliable place for notices, events and how to join.

Our general approach is on the website design in Malaysia page. This page is about what is particular to working in Selangor.

Towns we work with

Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Subang Jaya, Puchong, Klang, Kajang, Ampang Jaya, Gombak, Rawang and Cyberjaya are all in Selangor, and we can work with businesses in each. Shah Alam is the state capital. Cyberjaya sits next to Putrajaya, which is a separate Federal Territory.

Kuala Lumpur is also a Federal Territory and is not part of Selangor, even though towns such as Petaling Jaya and Ampang Jaya border it. If your premises are inside KL, see web design in Kuala Lumpur, which covers the city centre and its suburbs. We serve both, and the border makes no difference to the price.

Tuition centres and schools: what is different

A parent choosing a tuition centre wants five answers within a minute: what is taught, which levels, when, how much, and how to reach you. If the page cannot give them, they message someone else. A good school or centre site puts the timetable, fee structure, location and a WhatsApp button where they can be found without scrolling.

Schools also carry responsibilities that a shop does not. You may show children, publish names or collect enrolment details, and all of that is personal data. We add a privacy notice to every site and talk through photo permissions with you. If you need parent logins or an online enrolment form, that moves the project to a site with login or booking, from RM499. Read school websites for the full list of safeguards.

Workshops, factories and light industry

A buyer who finds your workshop on a search will not read a long story. They want to see what you do, work you have completed, how large a job you take and how to get a quote. The most useful pages for this kind of business are usually:

  • A services page that lists what you make or repair in plain words.
  • Real photos of your own work and premises, not stock pictures.
  • An enquiry form and a WhatsApp number that someone actually answers.
  • Any certification you really hold, shown with its number. If you do not hold it, do not display it.
  • Your address, opening hours and a map link for deliveries and visits.

If you want a product catalogue, that is hosted on the Busy plan. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.

Family businesses and handover

Many Selangor firms are run by relatives, and the person who set up the website is often not the person who runs the shop three years later. Plan for that from the start. Register the domain in the business's name, not in an employee's personal name. Keep a written note of where the domain, hosting and website files are. Name two people who can approve changes.

With us, you own your content and your domain, and after payment the finished design and files too. If a relative takes over, nothing needs to be transferred from us, because nothing was ever held in our name.

Working together across a big state

Selangor towns are spread out, and getting from one end of the state to the other takes time. So we work remotely by default: WhatsApp for questions and quick approvals, a video call when something needs talking through, and a preview link sent to your phone. If you prefer to meet for the first conversation, we can do that in person somewhere in Selangor or Kuala Lumpur. For a small site there is no travel charge.

Payment is by DuitNow, the national instant bank-transfer system, and only after you approve the preview. How DuitNow works is explained on the Kuala Lumpur page. We never ask for card details or banking passwords. No SST is charged at the moment.

Rules a Selangor site should follow

A site that collects names or phone numbers needs a privacy notice. Section 7 of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 requires the notice to be in the national language and in English; see the Act on the Attorney General's Chambers site. Show your registered business name and SSM number, and avoid claims you cannot prove. This is general information, not legal advice.

Which of our services fits you

Questions people ask.

Our school committee changes every year. Who owns the website?

Your organisation does, not one person. You own the content, the domain and, after payment, the finished design and files. Keep the domain registered in the organisation's name and keep the login details with at least two office bearers, so a handover never locks anyone out. Write down who approves changes, and tell us when that person changes.

Is it safe to put photos of students or children on the site?

Only with care. Photos of identifiable children are personal data, so get written permission from parents first, tell them where the photo will appear, and take it down when they ask. Prefer group or activity shots without names. This is general guidance, not legal advice. Our school websites page covers the safeguards in more detail.

We work from a workshop and visit customers. Do we need a Google Business Profile?

It is optional, and it is free to create according to Google. Google says a business with no shopfront can have a profile if it makes in-person contact with customers, and businesses that visit customers can list a service area. Whether you qualify is Google's decision. The profile is separate from your website, and the two work best together.

Who updates the site after launch, and how much does that cost?

Small text and photo updates, such as a new timetable or changed opening hours, are included from Standard hosting up. You send the change on WhatsApp. If you want several people to edit pages themselves, tell us how technical they are before we start, and we will suggest a setup that suits them instead of one that confuses them.

What happens if we decide to stop using you?

You can stop hosting in any month. We send you the website files within 14 days and help point your domain to a new host. The domain was always in your name, and you keep your content. There is no long contract to buy out. We would rather you stay because the site is useful than because leaving is hard.

Can parents log in to see their child's information?

A site with a login is possible, and it is built differently from a brochure site. It stores personal data, so it needs more care with access, backups and privacy. It is priced as a site with login or booking, and larger portals are quoted after a chat. Describe who needs to see what and we will tell you plainly whether it is realistic.

Tell us what you need.

Send a WhatsApp message with your business name and the pages you have in mind. We replywithin one working day.
