What we aim for
This site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. In practice that means:
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Text and buttons meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1.
- Every screenshot has a text description.
- Pages reflow on small screens and when zoomed to 200%.
- Movement is short, and switched off if your device asks for reduced motion: the menu, page transitions, scroll effects, counters and cursor ring then appear or change instantly, or not at all.
- The mobile menu opens and closes with the Escape key, keeps keyboard focus inside while it is open, and the page behind it cannot be reached until it closes.
- Every page also works without JavaScript.
- Buttons and standalone links are at least 44 pixels tall on touch screens.
Known limits
The portfolio screenshots are pictures of other websites. Their descriptions summarise what is shown, not every word in them. Those websites have their own accessibility statements.
