Web design for Kuala Lumpur businesses.

We design and build websites for businesses and organisations in Kuala Lumpur, from RM199 one-time and RM15 a month for hosting. You see a preview before you pay, and you can leave at any time.

Who we build for in Kuala Lumpur

In KL, businesses sit close together. Within a few streets there can be several clinics, tutors, cafes or accountants offering something similar. A website cannot change that. It can do what a signboard cannot: answer the questions a stranger has before they walk in or call, such as where you are, when you open, what it costs and how to book.

Most businesses and organisations in a city like this fall into a few groups, and each needs something different:

  • Office-based services such as accountants, consultants and agents. Visitors are judging whether you are credible. They need a clear list of services, your company details and an easy way to ask a question.
  • Clinics and practices. Opening hours, location, how to book and which languages you speak matter most. Healthcare and some other fields have their own advertising rules, so check with the relevant authority before you publish claims. We will not write medical or results claims for you.
  • Cafes and restaurants. A menu, hours, a map and a link to order. Menus change, so the site should be easy to update. Small text and photo updates are included from Standard hosting up.
  • Event organisers and venues. Dates, packages and an enquiry form that reaches you quickly.
  • Associations and societies. Notices, event details, how to join and who to contact, in more than one language where your members need it.

If your business is none of these, the approach is the same. See websites for small business for what a typical build includes.

Areas we work with

Your business can be anywhere in the city. Bukit Bintang, KLCC, Bangsar, Mont Kiara, Cheras, Kepong, Setapak, Sri Petaling and Bukit Jalil are all parts of Kuala Lumpur, and we work with businesses there by WhatsApp, video call and, if you prefer, in person.

Kuala Lumpur is a Federal Territory. It is not part of Selangor, even though the two run into each other. Cheras, for example, continues across the boundary. For a website this makes no practical difference: you show the address on your SSM record and we serve both sides. If your premises are on the Selangor side, read our page on web design in Selangor as well.

How working with us goes, day to day

You should never have to chase us or learn jargon. This is how a typical job runs:

  1. First conversation. By video call, or in person in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor if you would rather meet. We ask what you sell, who buys it and what you want visitors to do.
  2. Plan. We agree the pages and the words with you. Rough notes are fine.
  3. Preview. We send a link to a working preview on WhatsApp. Open it on your own phone, which is how most of your customers will see it.
  4. Changes. You get two rounds of changes before launch. Quick questions and approvals can be done on WhatsApp, so there is no long email chain.
  5. Pay and launch. You pay only after you approve the preview. Then the site goes live on your domain.

Prices are on the pricing page. A small site costs RM199, a standard site costs RM299, and a site with login or booking costs RM499. Hosting is billed monthly by size and you can stop in any month.

Paying by DuitNow

DuitNow is Malaysia's instant bank-transfer service, run by PayNet. You can send money to a mobile number or a DuitNow ID, or scan a DuitNow QR code in your banking app. If you have used your phone to pay a stall or a friend, you have probably used it.

We send you our DuitNow details in writing when the preview is approved. You pay the build price then, not before. We never ask for your card details, your online banking password or any TAC or OTP code. If a message claiming to be from us asks for any of these, do not reply and tell us. Before you confirm a transfer, compare the recipient details in your banking app with what we sent you.

No SST is charged at the moment. If that ever changes we will tell you in writing first.

What a KL business website should show

It is easy to miss the basics. A practical checklist:

  • Your registered business name and SSM registration number, in the footer or on the contact page. Register or check your details with SSM.
  • A privacy notice if you collect names, phone numbers or emails. Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 applies to personal data used in commercial transactions, and the official PDPA page explains it.
  • If you sell online, clear prices, what the buyer gets, how to pay and how to contact you. Consumer protection rules cover online trading; start at KPDN.
  • Claims you can stand behind. Do not say "best" or "number one" unless you can prove it.

This is general information, not legal advice.

Being found on Google in KL

Two things help people find you locally, and they are not the same thing. A Google Business Profile is the listing that appears on Google Search and Maps. Google says it is free to create. It is separate from your website: it does not replace one, and you do not need a website to have one. Whether you qualify depends on Google's rules; see Google's own page.

Your website gives that listing something to point to, with your full services, prices and contact details, so add the site's address to the listing once it is live. Rankings take months and nobody controls them. We do not guarantee any position on Google.

A city that reads in several languages

Customers in KL read English, Bahasa Melayu, Chinese and Tamil, often within one street. Many businesses are best served by a site in two languages. English and Bahasa Melayu are the usual pair, and Tamil and Chinese versions are possible too. Translation quality matters more than the number of languages, so plan for someone who writes the language well to check the text.

Which of our services fits you

Not sure which fits? Look at our projects to see the kinds of sites we build, then message us on WhatsApp.

Questions people ask.

Do you have an office in Kuala Lumpur that I can visit?

We do not run a public office or showroom, and we will not pretend to. We are a small studio that works by WhatsApp, email and video call. If you would like a first conversation in person somewhere in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor, say so and we will arrange a time. For a small site we do not charge extra for travel.

Will my site appear first when people search for my kind of business in KL?

Nobody can promise that, and you should be careful with anyone who does. Google decides rankings, and they depend on competition, your content and time. A well-built site gives you a fair start: it loads quickly, works on phones and says clearly what you do and where. Expect results to take months, not days.

I already own my domain name. Can you use it?

Yes. Keep the domain in your own name and we point it to the new site. If you do not have one yet, we can buy it at cost and then transfer it to you, so you stay the owner. The same rule applies if you ever leave: the domain is yours, and we help point it to a new host.

My site will have an enquiry form. What does the law expect?

A form collects personal data, such as a name and phone number, so you need a privacy notice that says what you collect, why, and how people can ask to see or correct it. We add this notice as part of our launch checklist. The details depend on your business, so read the official PDPA pages or ask a lawyer.

Can one site work in English, Bahasa Melayu and Chinese?

It can. We build the language switch and make sure each version looks right. The wording has to be good, though, so we ask you to supply the text for each language, or to have someone who writes it well check it before launch. We have built a three-language site before; see our projects page.

What do I need to send you before we start?

A short description of your business, your logo if you have one, some real photos, your opening hours and contact details, and your SSM name and number if you are registered. If you have no text yet, tell us. We start by agreeing the pages with you, and rough notes are enough for a first draft.

Tell us what you need.

Send a WhatsApp message with your business name and the pages you have in mind. We replywithin one working day.
