1. What we sell
We design and build websites, and host them for a monthly fee. The services are described on our services pages and in the written quote we send you. The quote lists the package, the pages, the languages, any extra features and the total price.
2. Quote, order and correcting mistakes
- We agree the package, pages and price with you in writing. WhatsApp or email counts.
- Before any work starts we send a summary of your order: package, pages, price, hosting size and payment terms. Read it. If anything is wrong, tell us and we correct it and send it again. Nothing is charged until you reply "start".
- If you find a mistake in your order after you have said "start", tell us as soon as you see it. If the mistake is ours, we fix it at no cost or refund the difference.
- You can cancel before you approve the preview (see section 10).
3. Prices and tax
Website, one-time: Small site (1 to 5 pages.) RM199; Standard site (Up to 10 pages.) RM299; Site with login or booking (A simple backend.) RM499; Custom portal (Custom backend, quoted after a chat.) from RM799.
Hosting, monthly: Small (1 to 5 pages) RM15; Standard (Up to 10 pages) RM29; Busy (Booking or catalogue) RM49; Large (Portal) RM79.
Prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are the full price we charge. No SST is charged at the moment. If that changes, we will tell you in writing before it applies to you and show the price with tax. Domain names and business email are bought from their providers and are not included; we tell you their cost before you sign up.
4. Payment
- Website: paid by DuitNow QR once you approve the preview and want it live, unless we agree a deposit in writing for custom work.
- Hosting: billed every month from the day the site goes live, paid in advance by DuitNow QR.
- We never ask for your card details or online banking password. A DuitNow QR transfer shows our business name before you confirm it; check it matches.
5. What is included
- Each package includes 2 rounds of changes before launch.
- After launch, small text or photo updates are included on Standard hosting and above. New pages or features are quoted separately and need your agreement first.
- You provide the text, photos and logo. We can help write simple text.
6. Your content, ownership and our portfolio
- You confirm you have the right to use everything you send us (photos, logos, text, music, fonts).
- You own your content and your domain.
- Once the one-time price is paid, you own the finished website design and files we made for you. Open-source tools inside the site keep their own licences. R3L keeps ownership of its general tools and reusable code, and gives you the right to use them as part of your site without time limit.
- Portfolio: we show your site, name or screenshots in our portfolio only with your written permission (WhatsApp or email is enough). You can withdraw it at any time and we remove it within 14 days.
7. Domain
- If you already own a domain, we connect it.
- If you need one, you buy it in your own name, or we buy it on your behalf at cost and transfer it to you on request.
8. Hosting and uptime
We host on third-party platforms, which may keep servers outside Malaysia (see the privacy notice). We aim to keep your site online at all times but cannot promise it will never be down, because outages at these providers are outside our control. We keep a backup copy of your site files.
9. No lock-in: stop anytime
- You can stop hosting in any month. Tell us before your next billing date.
- When you leave, we send you your website files within 14 days and help point your domain to your new host.
- A month already started is not refunded.
10. Cancellation, late payment and refunds
- Before you approve the preview you can cancel at any time. For standard packages nothing has been paid. For custom work, a deposit covers the work done up to the date you cancel; we show you that work in writing and refund the rest.
- If we cannot deliver what we agreed and you have not approved the preview, you get a full refund of anything paid for the build.
- Once a site is live, the one-time price is not refundable, except where the law gives you a right to a refund.
- If hosting is unpaid 14 days after the due date, we may take the site offline until it is paid. We remind you before we do this. Your files are kept for 90 days after the site goes offline, then deleted.
11. Liability
We take care to build and host your site properly. To the extent Malaysian law allows, we are not responsible for lost sales or other indirect losses from website downtime, and our total liability to you for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability, or any right you have, that cannot be excluded or limited under Malaysian law, including under the Contracts Act 1950 and, where you are a consumer, the Consumer Protection Act 1999.
12. Copyright and takedown
If you believe something on this website, including a portfolio screenshot, infringes your copyright or shows you or your organisation without permission, email studio@r3l.app with the page address and what is wrong. We reply within 3 working days and remove disputed material while we look into it.
13. Law, complaints and disputes
- These terms follow the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts decide any dispute we cannot settle.
- First, tell us the problem in writing (WhatsApp or email). We reply within 3 working days and try to fix it within 14 days.
- If we cannot agree, we meet or talk with you to find a fair outcome. If you are an individual consumer, you may also take a claim to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (TTPM).
