Website hosting in Malaysia, billed monthly, stop any month.

Four sizes, from RM15 a month. HTTPS and backup copies of your files come with each, and you can leave in any month with your website files.

What hosting means, in plain words

Your website is a set of files. Hosting is the always-on computer system that keeps those files and sends them to anyone who types your address. Without it the site exists only on the designer's laptop. Hosting is a recurring cost because someone has to keep that system running, secured and connected.

Hosting is not the same as the domain (your address) or email (your inboxes). Those are separate; see below.

The four hosting sizes

Each size matches what the site does. Prices are per month.

The four hosting sizes, what each suits, the monthly price and whether small updates are included
SizeSuitsPer monthSmall text and photo updates
Small1 to 5 pagesRM15Not included
StandardUp to 10 pagesRM29Included
BusyBooking or catalogueRM49Included
LargePortalRM79Included

Every size includes HTTPS, backup copies of your site files and the 14-day file handover if you leave. The sizes line up with the build packages on the pricing page: Busy goes with a site that takes bookings or lists a catalogue, and Large with a portal that has accounts, as described on our web development page. For a worked example of build plus a year of hosting, see the page for small businesses.

Where your site is hosted

We host on Vercel, or on another provider we agree with you. Vercel's servers are outside Malaysia, and its content delivery network copies your pages to many locations around the world, then serves each visitor from a nearby one. We do not run a server room of our own, and by default your site is not on a machine in Malaysia.

What that means in practice: plain pages load quickly from a close location. If your site collects personal data, such as a contact form or accounts, that data can be stored or processed outside Malaysia. The Personal Data Protection Act has rules for sending personal data abroad, which were changed in 2024; the organisation that collects the data is responsible for following them. Our privacy page says how we handle the data we hold, and the Personal Data Protection Department has the official guidance. That is general information only, not legal advice.

What we do for you each month

  • HTTPS. Your site is served over an encrypted connection, so browsers do not show a "not secure" warning.
  • Backup copies of your files. We keep a copy of your website files. For a site with a database, we agree in writing how the data is backed up.
  • Updates. From Standard up, small text and photo changes are included. Send them by WhatsApp or email. New pages and features are quoted separately.
  • Checks when we change something. After any change we make, we check that the site still works.

What we do not do: we do not watch your site around the clock, and we do not promise an uptime percentage. Vercel publishes its own terms and status; those are its promises, not ours. If your site is down, tell us and we reply within the reply time shown on this site.

Billing, stopping and leaving

  1. Billing. Hosting is billed monthly in advance from the day the site goes live, and paid by DuitNow QR.
  2. Stopping. You can stop in any month. Tell us before your next billing date. A month that has already started is not refunded.
  3. Leaving. We send your website files within 14 days and help you point the domain to a new host.
  4. Late payment. If hosting is still unpaid 14 days after the due date, we may take the site offline, after reminding you first. Files are kept for 90 days after that, then deleted.

The full wording is in our terms of service. No SST is charged at the moment.

Domain and email are separate

The domain is your address, such as yourbusiness.com.my. It stays in your name, and you pay the registrar for it directly. If you prefer, we can buy it for you at cost and transfer it to you. Business email is a third service, and it is not included in hosting. Because the domain and the hosting are held separately, you can change hosts without changing your address.

Compared with shared hosting and cPanel

Traditional shared hosting rents you space on a server with a control panel (cPanel), typically for running WordPress and similar software. That suits people who want to install and manage their own tools. Our sites are built differently: simple sites are made as ready-to-serve pages, so there is no database, plugin or admin login on the public site for someone to attack, and no software for you to keep updated. The trade-off is that you cannot install your own scripts or plugins on it.

If you want a site you manage yourself every day, shared hosting or a DIY builder is the better fit. If you want a site that mostly looks after itself, with us handling changes, hosting from us suits you. The projects page shows what we have run this way.

Honest limits

  • We rely on third-party platforms, so an outage on their side is outside our control. Our terms say we aim for the site to stay online but cannot guarantee it.
  • Hosting does not include marketing, search rankings, your domain renewal or business email.
  • Support is by WhatsApp and email, not by phone line at all hours.
  • A very busy site, such as one with a registration day when thousands log in together, needs planning. Tell us in advance.

Questions people ask.

Why is hosting billed monthly and not yearly?

Because it keeps you free to leave. A yearly bill ties you to a full year even if you change your mind in month two. Monthly billing means you pay only for the months you use, and you can stop whenever the site no longer earns its keep. The price of each size is fixed and listed, so you can plan around it.

Will my site be slow if the servers are outside Malaysia?

For ordinary pages, usually not. The pages are copied to a worldwide network and sent from a location close to the visitor, so distance matters less than image size does. A site that reads a database is different: the data may travel further. We cannot name the exact location serving each visitor, and we do not publish speed scores for client sites.

My website is down. Who do I contact?

Message us on WhatsApp or email and say what you see, with a screenshot if you can. First check your own connection, and whether the domain has expired, which is a common cause. If the problem is at the hosting platform, its public status page shows it. Our reply time is shown on this site, and we do not offer round-the-clock cover.

Can I move to another host without my site going offline?

Usually yes, with planning. We send your files, the new host sets the site up, you check it on a temporary address, and only then is the domain pointed across. Changes to a domain's settings can take a few hours to reach everyone, so leave the old hosting running until the new one is confirmed working. We help with the switch.

My site is only a few static pages. Do I still need hosting?

Yes, because the files have to sit on a computer that is always connected. What a static site does not need is a server running software for each visitor, so there is less to configure, patch or break.

What if my site grows beyond its size?

Sizes follow what the site does: pages for the first two, a booking form or catalogue for Busy, and a portal for Large. If you add a lot of pages or a booking feature, you move up a size, and we tell you before any change takes effect.
